So over the weekend I got a few more things done. Bled the front and rear brakes now that the SS lines were on there, re routed the throttle cables because I routed them wrong and they were not snapping back. I also had to get some new bolts for my main pegs, so I got those installed as well. The battery I got did not fit upright, so I had to turn it on it's side and squeeze it into the battery box. It ended up fitting alright, albeit a little snug. I also hooked up my HID headlight. Wires up directly to the stock headlight plug with no issues, and is ridiculously bright, so it was exciting to get a good look at how that is going to be.
I also squared away my gauge cluster for the most part. Ended up plugging in a few things wrong but now it all lights up with the bike. Unfortunately the coolant temp sensor I have on the bike is wrong/bad so I will be replacing that soon with a stock one that Nate had, which I tested the resistance with and it checked out good. The only other thing is that the Tach doesn't seem to be picking up the RPM's. I have the ford coil pack, so I probably just have to go through the wiring and trace everything and make sure there are no busted connections anywhere. My chain still needs to be pressed but Nate has stumbled upon a DIY chain rivet tool that we will try. The guts of the bike are pretty much good to go, so the next photo updates will be of the fairing work and headlight mount fabricating.
