1998 yzf 600r

In the states, this was the upgrade to the FZR600. In other places, this is called an FZR. Either way, many of the components of the US YZF600r fit onto the US FZR600.

I wouldn't bother looking at them.......just throw them away.

There is a member of this or the other forum that produces a very strong protection plate for the standard starter (peanut, to you lot) cover at a very reasonable price.(The OEM starter cover is the same on all 400/600 Fzr models, only difference is o shape on later models).

The topic was raised in the last few days regarding the protection plate.
