EXUP Eliminator - Beta Tester Wanted

Postby DonTZ125 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 9:49 am

Hi, folks.

After a long hiatus, I'm trying again with the electronics. I am looking for an owner of a FZR1000 to test my re-try of the EXUP eliminator. This will convince the TCI that there is actually a working EXUP servo attached, and will prevent it from cutting in a rev limiter at 4k rpm.

While the circuit should work on all years of EXUP-equipped 1ks, I have only been able to source the connector for the rectangular 6-pin version. If your TCI looks like this, I'd appreciate your help:

If you have the older round connector, I might be able to help you later - but I want to get this tested first!

Please contact me via PM if interested. I will send you two devices to test. In return, I will also send a production model (weather tight and compact) once they're ready.
