Fuel Pump from Shadow 750 on the FZR?

I'm hard pressed to find a reasonably priced FP for my '93 FZR600 but came across a good used one from a Honda Shadow 750 that looks similiar but not exact in design. Would I be safe operating the bike with this pump? Does it shut off when fuel level is at maximum as I believe the Yama FP is supposed to? Thanks...

I know nothing of the shadow fuel pump BUT if it is a two wire, self regulating pump, that operates at around 7 psi then you're good to go.
